After showing our film opening to an audience with the newly added production company titles. There was a suggestion that with the flashing images of the production companies backgrounds there may be a risk concerned with people who suffer from epilepsy. Therefore, after researching into epilepsy on http://www.epilepsy.org.uk/ we decided to add a warning at the start of our film to inform the audiences of the use of flashing images.

Our own Production Company
We finally came to a conclusion to the names of our production companies.
Originally, we had the name J.E.D.I Productions which was the letter of all of our names, however after adding a Jedi logo to the background of the title shot we decieded it looked unprofessional and got rid of the company.
>Later, we came up with the name Pandemonium Productions and a Nevaeh Film (which is heaven spelt backwards) both of these titles had a much more professional quality to them and after placing them on a flashing black and white screen in a white font, our group was very pleased with our production company names.

Thriller Production Companies
It was quite hard to find particular production companies that specifically distributed Thrillers on their own. However, there where a few which did distribute a majority of Thrillers as well as other film genres such as horrors.
New Line Cinema would be the most likely production company to distribute our
film. They are very successful company and have distributed many well known suspense and thriller films such as Number 23 (2007),The Butterfly Effect (2004), Se7en (1995)
and The Wicker Man (2006).
I research in other prestigious production companies such as Lionsgate, Paramount Vantage and Miramax Films. But many of these production companies mainly focused on distributing films from the horror genre rather than Thrillers.
Also I saw that many of the production companies have either the title then production company or films after them so when creating our own company we will need to take this into account.

Title Name
Our group finally came up with the title for our film. We decided to name our film 'Ripper' by calling the film 'Ripper' it gives the audience an idea of the genre of the film, and also that the film is about Jack the Ripper.
This name suited our film rather than the others as it includes the killers name and also the way in which he killed his victims by ripping their bodies apart.
I really loved the title of the film it is very catchy and is quick and sharp which will grab the attention of the audience.

Ideas for Film Title
Our group has been trying to think of a name for our Jack the Ripper themed film.
Some of the names that we thought to call it were:
* The Silver Knife - as this was the main weapon that Jack the Ripper used. However, we thought that the audience would not immediately associate the film title with Jack the Ripper.
* 1988 - which is the year that the murders took place, but in order to relate the film with the title we would need to explore the year in more depth and explicitly make the audience aware that the murders took place in 1888. Which I personally do not feel is needed and that we should think of a more catchy, gripping title name.
Finally, Dom watched the a comedy film 'Scary Movie' which mocks horror films. She really liked the opening title shot of the knife cutting through the screen and the text (Scary Movie) come up. She showed the rest of the group and we all loved the credits, which have given us some more ideas for our own.
